Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. She was raised listening to traditional and old boleros, and traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana loves tangos and opera, as well as any dramatic performance. Following her singing lessons with mom and sister, she began more intense training in vocals at age 16 under the tutelage of renown Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young musician and student. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. Her passion for the performing arts, music, and the arts keeps her engaged in local projects both as an artist and instructor. Ana is also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as and members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana finds it a privilege to be able bring to others her passion for the tradition of Latin American music. She hopes this can encourage younger generations to continue the tradition.
