MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin pop mainstream is influenced by his globular popularity. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. His debut album was a long-player ADN to the Medellin-based company Sony, which is distributed by La Industria Inc. The album reached the top of the charts at number eight places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Later in the year, the singer teamed with Ozuna to make Vaina Loca that was it was a Top Five hit. In the year 2020, he debuted his charting sophomore album Dopamina as well as co-produced Mala Influencia along with Noriel. In 2021, he appeared on a duet TINI on her smash streaming single Maldita Foto. 2000 which included the smash record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo's mother and brother also played instruments when they were born. In his interviews, he's described the music he plays as a compulsory activity. He started playing the guitar, saxophone the ukulele, and keyboard when he was an infant. When his original career plan was to be a veterinarian, his brother Julian convinced him to take singing lessons with the help of a Cuban teacher. The end outcome of discovering his talents as a singer altered the direction of his life.
