Rosalia
Rosalia Vila Also known as Rosalia Rosaly, is an Spanish Flamenco music singer. Since her teen years she has been at the edges of both traditional and popular music. Additionally, she explores genres including hip-hop, trap and soul. Her voice has been called by no less of talented than flamenco musician Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, but with a bite like older versions. El Mal Querer is her 2nd album, which was released in 2018, which was commercially and critically acclaimed. Following Los Angeles, her debut album released in 2017, she received a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and also an Latin Grammy nod. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami, her third album, featured songwriting collaborations between Cory Henry and James Blake. It was released on the 20th of March, 2022 in the wake of the live performance on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia is the very first Spanish singer to perform solo on the program. Motomami Rosala was also the recipient of three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, she was the first female to win both of these awards.
