Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. His career began with roles in television series, including Opposite Sex in the year 2000. Evans became famous as the Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the 2005 film Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans has also been featured in films of comics as well as graphic novels TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). In addition to his role in the role of Captain America and Steve Rogers, Evans gained recognition through his appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) and Captain America: Civil War. Because of his Marvel work, he became one the most highly-paid actors around the globe.
